History

Starting out as a mastic contractor in 1971 known nationwide as County Mastics and progressing into distribution 10 years later with a sister company which is County Construction Chemicals Ltd. then branching out to internet sales with our e-shop Sealants Online, we have over 45 years mastic sealant experience.

In this day and age, it's not something that happens by luck or by chance and as a friendly, family-run business, this is a landmark we're very proud of!

We're now one of the UK's largest independant suppliers of high quality building and waterproofing materials, specialising in mastic joint sealants.

Our ethos, from day one, has been to evolve our business at just the right pace instead of being gung-ho in the marketplace, squashing margins and roping in custom with loss-leaders, so as to keep up a high level of quality and service, with attention to detail being paramount to our operation.

We've been sending out mastic sealant orders from 1 x single tube to many pallet loads, for decades before the internet revolution and thus we're well versed in the speedy and safe delivery of mastic sealants, using only the best multi-national networked, courier services and where appropriate, local, rapid-response delivery services.

For any aftersales delivery enquiries, amendments or errors, we have a dedicated customer service team.

We also realise that over-ordering, changing circumstances and other factors can affect already placed/received orders and so, accept returns as per our general returns policy and will try our utmost to assist our customers with any AFTERCARE they may require.

We use intumescent acoustic mastic sealant on pretty much every internal job we do, where the spec. requires that a certified intumescent fire sealant is used. We're more than happy to recommend the 3C Intumescent Fire Sealant to all trades that use these type of acrylic sealants, as the consistency of the material is perfect to use on a variety of substrates and has proved reliable on every single job after fully cured, unlike the previous material we used which was inconsistent. It's a 10/10 on this stuff from us.

I found the 3C sealant good to use albeit a little more grainy than other brands I have used in the past, and so you don’t get a shiny smooth surface. In a situation where it will get painted, this may actually be beneficial, but in my particular case I have planned to leave the sealant unpainted (because it’s white). “The 3C Glazing Putty tooled very well and skinned over quickly, and I will definitely be using it again next year.”

Been happy with first trial of this product and have just ordered another 5 tubes to finish a job. I have used it side by side with Timba Build which I did not like as its way too thick and very hard to gun, Top Gun which is ok for the price but is a bit grainy and slow drying and Repair Care which is very good but way too expensive. The 3C is best for price by far, application falls short of repair care as Adam has stated it needs a little lubrication on tooling but not a big issue, for the cost its my go to product. Well done Sealants online, looking forwards to your next own brand product......caulk or epoxy resins would be good!

It's hard to get a get a reasonably priced crystal clear mastic sealant that's silicone based and not polymer-based, for when perfect tooling off to a finish is required! This product fits the bill very well and is our 'go to' gear for glass to glass joints in partitioning, shopfitting etc. and glass and plastic cabinets, displays and other see-through substrates that need a see-through seal.
